Warm up w/ bar weight 2 x 10
Band-Assisted Bench Press . 1st set x 8 reps . +20 lbs x 5 reps . +10 lbs x 5 reps . +20 lbs x 5 reps . +10 lbs x 2 reps . + 5 lbs x 1 rep
T-Bar Row . 60 lbs x 8 . 70 lbs x 8 . 80 lbs x 8
Pin Press at top end . 110% max . 125% max . 140% max
Pull Ups . 2 x 5
A challenging workout tonight with heavy lifts. First time for me benching with bands. Pin presses were heavy for a rather short distance, but providing an excellent burn! These were superset with T-bar rows. The pull ups were just to see if I could... and I did!
This was topped off by a sprint across the hospital parking lot in a pouring rain to visit a sick friend...
