Everyone knows that I am not a Raw lifter, yet I am constantly asked about my raw numbers. I don't worry about my raw max numbers, but I do get in substantial raw work, so this post along with my previous was to put some of my raw numbers out there. Keep in mind too that these numbers are at age 48 and off-season bodyweight of 154 lbs...(striking distance from 148) LOL
Standing Calf work and general full body and core warm-ups. (No sled work due to rain)
Raw Pulls from the floor: (scheduled for 3 x 3 with 425) RAW, RAW, RAW!!! 135 x 5 135 x 5 185 x 5 225 x 3 275 x 3 315 x 3 (No belt through this and all previous sets) 365 x 3 (started belt) 405 x 1 (just a transition set, so not to make to big a jump and needed to save some gas for the next sets) (Next time will add the extra 2 reps in for sure) 425 x 3 (Raw PR!) 425 x 3 (Raw PR!) 425 x 1 (out of gas... couldn't get 2nd rep up) (Raw PR after the two previous sets!)
Strongman pullthroughs: 100 lbs x 75ft. / 150 lbs. x 75ft.
Partial Deads: 135 x 20
Sissy Sq. (bodyweight) x 20
Wide Leg Crunches: 45 lbs. x 10 90 lbs. x 10 45 lbs. x rotating each side 5 reps then 5 to the center.
Passed on reverse hypers today... hams and erectors were fried!
