Finished up our bench cycle Wed 4-4-2012. This was my first time back in a shirt in quite a while. Ran the 6 week cycle with my old fury shirt, and did the max day in my previous competition shirt. Anyway...ended up with 295 on 1-Board and 290 to near the chest with a pause. Liked about a half inch touching and the fight to touch flattened me out but I still muscled it up after technique broke down. Not really a true max day since we did some board work first and maxed at the end of the workout, but got a good idea where things are. The objective of this cycle was to get used to a shirt again and bring up the numbers in a shirt to near where they were before. Mission accomplished and everything is right on track. Now we will began a more serious approach with benching and go from there.
