Heavy LegsSumo Kettlebell Squats. 25 lb kettlebell 4 x 25 Hip Abductor. 80 lbs x 20 . 90 lbs x 20 . 100 lbs x 20 Hip Adductor. 80 lbs x 20 . 90 lbs x 20 . 100 lbs x 20 Squats - walking back out of the squat rack. bar weight 2 x 10 . 80% max x 5 . 85% max x 5 . 90% max x 5 . 95% max x 3 . 102% max x 2 New PR!!. 2 sets of 1 rep w/increased weight, could not get low enough. Form was starting to slip, leaning slightly forward. Maybe next time. Stiff Leg Deadlifts in power rack. bar weight x 10 . 140 lbs x 8 . 190 lbs x 6 . 165 lbs x 8 Step Ups. w/ 40 lb dumbbells 3 x 8 Surprised at the increased squat capacity since last time doing competition squats. The training has made definite improvements. Next full power meet is still a ways off, and I will be aging up a division by then. Feeling positive about my progress, and looking forward to next time.
